Aubrey Givens was born just down the road from Nashville in Lebanon, Tennessee and still resides there. He graduated from Lebanon High School and went on to Middle Tennessee State University where he obtained a degree in Aerospace/Aviation Management. While working on his masters in Aviation education Aubrey became interested in law and applied to the Nashville School of Law. Aubrey graduated from law school with honors and was successful on the first attempt at the bar exam.
Aubrey began his legal career working for Attorney Larry Williams and Rocky McElhaney. He also did an internship with the District Attorney’s office in Wilson County where he helped prosecute cases ranging from DUI to murder. Aubrey later joined the law firm of Underhill, Blackwell, Underhill & Givens and then Aubrey then founded the law firm of Aubrey Givens & Associates.

Aubrey Givens & Associates is a full service law firm concentrating of various types of civil cases as well as criminal matters. Trucking accidents, automobile wrecks and industrial accidents workers compensation cases have always been an emphasis of the firm. The firm also concentrates on Social Security Disability representation. Aubrey and the firm recently won a jury trial case involving breach of a commercial agreement for a client from Miami, Florida in the amount of $800,000. “I take a lot of pride in the fact that our firm handles a large variety of civil cases as well as criminal cases that range from traffic violations all the way up to capital murder.”
The Givens firm emphasizes the importance of client relations and customer service. Too often people feel as though they are alienated after a law firm is hired. Aubrey along with the entire hand selected staff work together as a team to ensure all clients are treated respectfully and kept informed as their case progresses.

In addition to his passion for the practice for law, Aubrey also has a love for farming and for many years raised beef cattle. His walking horse, Nash has proven to be a faithful companion over the years. Aubrey’s English Bulldog Reggie is frequently at the office and is always enthusiastic about meeting clients and visitors to the firm.
